About Our Auction

Local businesses and charities alike have lost a lot this year, but here’s a Win-Win that helps everyone!

To help drive business for our loyal supporters, we’ve changed our annual auction for 2020. We're auctioning off gift cards/certificates only!

Gift cards and certificates can drive traffic and boost business, drawing regular customers and new prospects to your door. Donors generate new business, we gain some much-needed revenue and successful bidders get what they need just in time for the holidays!

It’s win, win… and win!

• Safe for everyone involved!
• Touch-free prize collection: We mail to the winning bidders
• Extensive on-line and community promotion
• Loyal supporters wait for this auction every year!

If you are the lucky winner of one of our auction items, we will mail it out to you.

Please note that none of the gift cards/certificates offered hold any cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash.

**Payment will be required through the auction website or by Interac E-Transfer prior to prizes being delivered**

About GAMRU South Shore Search And Rescue

For more than 30 years, local volunteers from GAMRU South Shore Search And Rescue have sailed into Lake Ontario in every kind of weather to help save their neighbours' lives and protect property. In that time, many skilled and determined volunteers - some with little prior boating experience - have become the pillars of an unlikely system that works uncommonly well. They have earned the respect of their community and their peers in the marine search and rescue community.

With over 70 calls in the last two seasons, GAMRU remains busy on the waters of Lake Ontario.

GAMRU is a community-based unit that relies almost exclusively on the generosity of the community to operate and maintain its rescue vessel and to train its 30 plus volunteer crew members.
