DuPage Friends of Extension is dedicated to fundraising for support of University of Illinois Extension's educational programs in DuPage County. One of Extension's oldest and most respected programs is 4-H, which empowers young people to develop life skills and grow their knowledge in subjects of their choosing, thus gaining self-esteem and independence. Extension also offers STEM projects, which create opportunities for learning in science, technology, engineering, and math. This knowledge is especially important in our present age. Another of Extension's popular and well-known programs is the Master Gardener program, which offers research-based gardening advice for local residents. Master Gardeners also manage community-based gardening projects for veterans at Cantigny. When you support a Friend's fundraiser, you are contributing to advancement of all these outstanding programs.
