FMMPL 2nd annual silent auction

This year’s auction proceeds will be used to support the recent announcement by the Mississippi Mills Public Library that there will no longer be fees applied to late returns of library materials. Great news for the community! However, this initiative means the library will have a budget shortfall of approximately $4,000. Bad news for the library. The Friends of the Mississippi Mills Public Library have taken up the challenge to raise the money to re-balance the budget and to continue supporting the library in all it's initiatives,

The Friends of the Mississippi Mills Public library (FMMPL) is a group of dedicated volunteers who raises funds to support and promote the services and programmes of the Library. In 2024 our fundraising events include this online auction, an annual book sales, a professional play reading, an art shown, and a concert series. We also run Friendshops in both the Almonte and Pakenham branches of the Library.
