Our mission is to promote a sustainable world by inspiring children and adults to take action to protect, support and expand the Children’s Eternal Rainforest in Monteverde, Costa Rica.

The Children's Eternal Rainforest is a wildlife reserve founded and supported by children from around the world (44 countries to date!) It protects some of the most biodiverse habitat on earth and provides safe harbor to thousands of species, many of which are threatened, including jaguars, sloths, tapirs, dozens of species of bats. It also protects 55,000 acres of pristine rainforest that helps provide the clean air, water and climate so important to a healthy life for us all. Our goal is to inspire the hope and compassion that will compel individuals to take action to protect life on our planet.

With your donation, we buy land to add to the protected areas; reforest habitat that has been destroyed by farming; maintain and protect the forest; operate visitor centers, educational programs for local students and field stations--all are open to guests and visitors (you can visit by yourself or on one of the eco tours on our webpage); and work with children, schools and others to raise awareness of the pressing need for rainforest conservation worldwide.

We welcome and encourage your support and participation. We believe that education, experience and collaboration can save the Children’s Eternal Rainforest and similar critical habitats around the globe.
