About Our Auction

For over a decade, Doing Good Together has focused on empowering families to raise caring, engaged children here in Minneapolis - as well as around the nation - by providing innovative activities, resources, and support to help make empathy and "giving back" a natural part of life's early lessons, setting the stage for compassionate, ethical characteristics in our future leaders.
The annual gala, online auction and silent auction is critical to raising the funds and to grow the awareness that enables us to do even more good, together.


About Doing Good Together

Doing Good Together weaves kindness, service and social action into the fabric of families’ lives to strengthen family bonds, bring communities together -- and inspire kids to care for others and for the common good. DGT provides hands-on tools for parents, and also teaches organizations (schools, faith groups, social service agencies and others) how to better empower their member families to make a difference in their communities. We believe passionately that when a family unites to help others, the result is a future generation that is compassionate, aware of social issues, and poised to contribute throughout their lives.

Live Event Information

Date: Thursday, April 20, 2017
Time: 5:30 – 8:30pm (Open house format) Short program 7:00 pm
Location: American Swedish Institute, 2600 Park Avenue South, Mpls, MN 55404
Tickets: $50.00 per person in advance; $55 at the door.

*Silent Auction - Bid on a wide variety of great items in the For Generations to Come online auction, open March 31st through April 18th, and then in person at the event on April 20th.
*Food & Drink - Your evening ticket includes appetizers as well as cocktails and other beverages at the cash bar. Note: attendees receive one free cocktail per ticket.
*Wall-of-Wine Raffle - Win 10, 20, 30 or 40 bottles of wine! A silent auction and wine raffle ($5 per ticket) will be held the night of the event. You do not need to be present to bid or win.
*Heart of our Mission - This celebration would not be complete without an option to live our mission. We will have three service stations set up, so participants can do good, together!

The online portion of the silent auction ends at midnight CST April 18, 2017. The auction will then continue at the event. Select the proxy bid option when bidding online for continued bidding at the event.
