CAM Silent Auction - Building for the Future!

After 28 years of serving northwest Harris County, CAM is moving all services under one roof and constructing a metal building on Cypress N Houston Road. We need your help to purchase the equipment, fixtures, and furniture needed to outfit the building so the people in our community can receive service efficiently. For example, the Food Pantry will need pallet racks, pallet jacks, a walk-in cooler, a walk-in freezer, and wheeled carts. The building itself will need a telephone system, cabling for computers and a security system. The list of needed items is long, and your auction purchase will help to make it happen!

Cypress Assistance Ministries (CAM) addresses the many issues that accompany the lack of financial resources, language barriers, and unemployment. Hard times can come about through an unexpected job loss, an illness, a divorce, a move, or a multitude of other reasons. CAM serves the community in crisis by providing: financial assistance primarily toward rent and utilities; food for individuals and families; Special Delivery of food and toiletries for elderly and disabled people with a lack of mobility; one-on-one job counseling along with job leads through the Operation Jobs program; multiple levels of year-round ESL classes; GED classes on a year-round basis; and seasonal programs such as during Back To School time and at Christmas.
