"Happy Tails" Holiday Auction

The Bitter Root Humane Association (BRHA), like all businesses this last year and a half, has suffered financially from the COVID-19 crisis and the economy in general. Although we have kept our doors open to provide all our normal services to the community, our donations support has significantly dropped. With the uncertainty of COVID, and in order to ensure the safety of our staff, volunteers and the community we felt the need to cancel most of our in person events and again opt for an online auction for 2021.
We're hoping that our "Happy Tails" Holiday Auction will bring the spirit of the season to our friends & supporters and in turn help us to raise at least $10,000.00 of our $400,000+ annual operating budget.
Huge thanks to all our auction donors and new items may be added up till one hour before the auction ends! We're sure with item values from $10 to priceless, you'll find the perfect gift for everyone on your holiday list...and yourself too! BIDDING OPENS November 25th Thanksgiving evening @ 6pm and BIDDING CLOSES November 29th Cyber Monday @ 6pm.

Since 1972, (yep, that's 50 years!) we have been caring for, loving and supporting the homeless animals and pets of the Bitterroot Valley and beyond. We are the only "open admission" shelter in Western Montana and no animal in need is turned away and we have no time limits to their stay. When people call in frantic about a lost pet...we answer. When there is a community emergency...we stand ready to help. Because there is a continuing and enduring need for the shelter...we will be here!
Our dream of a new shelter has now come true and should last many, many years into the future so we can continue to serve our community as we have for the past 49 years. Our annual operating budget of $500,000+ and our current Capital Campaign to pay-off our new shelter mortgage is funded strictly through generous donations without any ongoing taxpayer funding.
