Bull and Oyster Roast

Since we are 100% volunteer based all money raised during this event will directly impact the 135 participants. Whether it be in the form of paying for ice time, buying new equipment, paying tournament entry fees, or paying for trophies at the end of the season. Baltimore Area Special Hockey is one of the few organizations that provides all the equipment needed to all their players, includes a bag on wheels to carry it all in. As players out grow their gear they just exchange it for a new size. No parent is ever expected to go out and buy any equipment for their son or daughter.

Baltimore Area Special Hockey, Inc. offers an ice hockey program for both children and adults with a traumatic brain injury or intellectual disability such as Autism and Down Syndrome .

The program provides participants the opportunity to play ice hockey in an environment adapted to each of their ability. Special Hockey is not only recreational but therapeutic. It emphasizes social interaction, self reliance, concentration and willingness to adapt to new experiences with a sense of accomplishment and pride.
