About Our Auction

This silent auction represents the largest fundraiser of the year for our organization. We have a goal to raise $10,000 this year so we can continue to support local, small businesses, community initiatives, and creative community collaborations, all of which benefit our economy.

Your participation through donations and bidding on items will be channeled towards accomplishing the following 2022 strategic initiatives set by our Board of Directors:

1) Develop a workforce development pipeline with local schools and elevate community dialogue regarding solutions to workforce issues.

2) Create a more agile and responsive Learning Community.

3) Advocate for positive change by facilitating solutions-driven dialogue and collaboration.

We will also continue our long-standing traditions of building relationships within the community and celebrating successes through our monthly Mixers, State of the City event, July 4 festivities, Ribbon Cuttings, Business Field Trips, event co-sponsorship, newsletter, and more.

We have a very small staff, so your donations go a long way in helping us bring quality services to our membership.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!

About Arcata Chamber of Commerce

What is the Mission of the Arcata Chamber?

The Arcata Chamber of Commerce is a diverse, nonpolitical member organization serving the Arcata, Humboldt area, working as a catalyst to support business entrepreneurship, collaboration and innovation while promoting a strong sense of community.

Land Acknowledgment

The Arcata Chamber of Commerce would like to acknowledge that we are located on the unceded ancestral territory and present homeland of the Wiyot peoples, which includes the Wiyot Tribe, Bear River Rancheria, and Blue Lake Rancheria. Please join us in acknowledging this fact as we visit and enjoy the city of Arcata and its surrounding areas. We make this land acknowledgment in recognition that our words must be matched by action and approach. Therefore, we encourage direct giving to Tribes and Native-led efforts in Humboldt County including Hupa, Karuk, Mattole, Tolowa, Wailaki, Wiyot, and Yurok, and we encourage those in Wiyot territory to make a contribution to the Wiyot Tribe honor tax.

Proud Equity Arcata Partner

The Arcata Chamber of Commerce is proud to partner with Equity Arcata, a partnership between the city of Arcata, Humboldt State University, local businesses, NPOs, and members of the community working to make Arcata a more inclusive and welcoming environment for people of color.
