2015 St. Paddy's Denver Pub Crawl Silent Auction

The 2015 St. Paddy's Denver Pub Crawl (http://pubcrawl2015.eventbrite.com) is proud to raise money for a great charity this year - First Descents! (https://firstdescents.org/who-we-are/).

We are auctioning off a 4 Person Set Visit to the highly acclaimed TV show "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia". Please contribute to our fundraising by donating or bidding on the Set Visit (or if you're in Denver, by joining our pub crawl on March 14th, 2015 at 11am).

Help cancer victims find a semblance of normalcy - your tax-deductible bid helps First Descents make this a reality by taking cancer survivors into the wilderness on adventures to feel whole again.

That's right, you get to help kids fight cancer AND if you're the winning bidder, visit the set of an outrageously funny comedy.

Upon winning, you will receive the auction item, plus a receipt indicating a tax-deductible contribution to First Descents for the amount bid (minus auction and PayPal fees).

First Descents offers young adult cancer fighters and survivors a free outdoor adventure experience designed to empower them to climb, paddle and surf beyond their diagnosis, defy their cancer, reclaim their lives and connect with others doing the same.
During the First Descents experience, young adult survivors and fighters are empowered through conquering legitimate outdoor challenges to push their limits and face their fears, and by doing so, they are able to regain the confidence and self-efficacy lost to cancer. First Descents places an emphasis on each individual’s experience and provides the right support for every participant to achieve their goals for the week. The experience is designed to allow healing to happen naturally and organically – no forced conversations and no structured group sessions or therapy.
Each program is limited to 15 participants, ensuring individualized care, medical attention and an intimate experience with fellow survivors. First Descents programs are available to young adults with cancer regardless of their financial means. All meals, accommodations and program activities are provided free of charge, including travel scholarships, when needed. In 2012 First Descents hosted 46 2-day to week-long programs across the US and internationally. In 2013 we will host 50+ programs in North, Central and South America and beyond.
