Above the Fold: Exhibit Furniture Auction

This auction will help to fund the Hermitage's 2015 spring exhibition, Above the Fold: New Expressions in Origami. Through a partnership with Decorum Furniture, the Hermitage is thrilled to auction distinct pieces of furniture curated specifically for the exhibition. Each piece of furniture resides in a unique space within the Sloane mansion in conversation with the groundbreaking artworks of nine international origami artists.

The auction will run from Friday, May 8 through Sunday, June 21 at 10pm. Don't miss the chance to own a distinct piece you'll cherish for years to come!

The Hermitage Museum & Gardens is partnering with Decorum Furniture to broaden the concept of what art is and how woven it is into our daily lives outside of the museum. Decorum Furniture elevates the craft of furniture-making to an art form. The legacy of the Hermitage is to showcase the arts in all of their forms and we'll continue to test the boundaries of what that means.
