About Our Auction
The September 2014 Above and Beyond Dance silent auction will support our production of "Dreamscapes and Other Imaginings." The online auction will dovetail with live bidding during our company performances Sept. 19-21, with bidding coordinated between events. All bidding closes at 6:00pm on Sunday, Sept. 21. Proxy bids will be honored at the live event.
Our auction features a variety of items including classes in aerial arts, trampoline, pop action, yoga, Pilates, and Alexander technique; jewelery; tickets to American Ballet Theatre; and more.
About Above and Beyond Dance
Above and Beyond Dance was founded in 2007 to explore the nearly limitless potential in the fusion of dance and circus arts work-- a blend which creates possibilities that go far beyond the traditional spectacle of circus and which expands upon the choreographic possibilities of dance. Under the directorship of Chriselle Tidrick, the company has successfully produced three seasons of circus-infused dance: "RAW" (2011) at Manhattan Movement & Arts Center; "Ascendance" (2009) at The Flea Theater; and "Seeking" (2008) at Kumble Theater for the Performing Arts. Above and Beyond Dance will premiere "Dreamscapes" September 19-21, 2014 as part of "Dreamscapes and Other Imaginings," a co-produced run of performances at The Muse in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
