ART FOR CHANGE 2020

Art For Change is an Art Exhibition and Online Auction to

a) raise funds for a mobile veterinary clinic/ team that will enable us to reach all disadvantaged areas of towns and villages, with the aim of continuing ongoing sterilisation campaigns across the island

b) establishing Dog Feeding Shelters in public spaces, to make sure all stray dogs have food and care after being sterilised

c) create awareness through the medium of Art about the Stray Dog problems in Mauritius

d) bring the community together to have open conversations about the issues regarding Animal Welfare and how we can all make a difference

Happy Tails Foundation was established in 2018 as the first step towards changing Animal Welfare in Mauritius, focusing primarily on the wellbeing of Stray Dogs. The foundation’s sole focus is to better the lives of the island’s voiceless, to bring this nation to being home to zero animal suffering. In summary, we plan to eradicate neglect; the primary reason for Happy Tails to come into being.
