Art 1.11 Scholarship Auction

This year, the 2021 Performance Art Event will not take place January 11, due to Covid, yet last years' paintings will be auctioned off to the highest bidders as promised for scholarships.

The Art 1.11 has been a Performance Art Event held each year on January 11, 3:00 to 5:00 at Medina High School. Students and teachers each painted a 24 x 30 canvas in 111 minutes using liquid acrylic paints. The three purposes of the event were: to give the community an opportunity to watch artists create artwork; to display the artwork at Medina High School for a year; and to auction off the paintings to raise money for students' art scholarships.
