2014 Main Event

Did you know that the Jewish Community Center of San Antonio, also known as the JCC or “the J”, has provided essential programs and services to the San Antonio community for over 135 years? That’s right, and we look forward to continuing to make a positive impact on our community for years to come; and we are hopeful that we can count on your support.

The funds generated through our online and silent auction will help to provide a host of essential programs and services to hundreds of individuals in our community including:

• Financial Assistance to families in need that enables them to send their children to our safe and nurturing early childhood, summer camp and after-school-care programs.
• On-going transportation services providing both senior adults and youth with the means to get to the JCC to participate in additional essential programming.
• Nutritional lunches and socialization opportunities for senior adults four days each week.
• The only fully inclusive Summer camp program in San Antonio serving families with children with developmental disabilities.
• …and so much more!

The Barshop Jewish Community Center of San Antonio is committed to helping individuals develop to their maximum potential as citizens of our community and our nation. The JCC strives to inspire Jewish journeys, while strengthening individual life, family unity and community involvement. We will achieve this through creative and constructive programs, which meet the cultural, educational and recreational needs of individuals, families and the community at large.

The 2014 JCC Main Event takes place on Saturday, Nov. 22 at 7pm.

Tickets are $50 and can be purchased online at www.jccsanantonio.org/mainevent or at the door the night of the event.
