The 2012 Producers Ball will feature a silent auction fundraiser in support of Paul Haggis' charity, Artists for Peace and Justice (APJ). APJ’s immediate goal is to serve children and their families in the poorest communities in Haiti by supporting programs focused on education, health and dignity, through the Academy for Peace and Justice, the first free secondary school in Port-au-Prince.

About the Producers Ball
The Producers Ball was created by Jonathan and Drew Scott to celebrate the important role of the Producer, as well as the success of Canada’s media production industry, which is known worldwide as a leader in film, television and multimedia production. Last year's gala was a huge success with over 300 VIP guests including actors, directors, producers and major media. The Canadian Media Production Association (CMPA) is back again as one of our top sponsors and with a larger venue and heavier media coverage, this year’s gala is going to be a great way to kick off TIFF.
